Sisu-Kyokushin ry Terms and Conditions
Service Provider
Sisu-Kyokushin ry (hereinafter referred to as the “club”) provides its members with karate training, courses, camps, events and other physical activity services.
Registration
Registration for courses, camps and other paid events is binding once the participant has made the payment or received confirmation of registration.
Payment Methods
The club accepts the following payment methods:
- Epassi
- Edenred
- online bank payments
- invoicing (by separate agreement)
Payment must be made before the service or event begins, unless otherwise agreed.
Participation in Training
Participants are responsible for ensuring that their health allows them to take part in training. In the case of minors, this responsibility lies with their parent or guardian.
The club has the right to refuse participation if a participant:
- endangers their own safety or the safety of others
- seriously violates the club’s rules or instructions
- fails to make agreed payments
Changes to Activities
The club reserves the right to:
- change the instructor
- change training times or the training venue
- cancel training sessions or events due to circumstances beyond the club’s control.
Any changes will primarily be communicated by email, on the club’s website or through the communication channels used by participants.
Liability and Insurance
The club does not provide separate insurance coverage for participants.
Participants are responsible for obtaining insurance offered in connection with a Finnish Karate Federation licence or other suitable accident insurance covering leisure activities.
The club is liable for damages only to the extent required by mandatory legislation.
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation and refund practices are governed by separate cancellation terms.
Payments made with Epassi will not be refunded in cash or to a bank account. Any refunds will primarily be provided as credit that can be used for the club’s services. Epassi’s terms of use emphasise that the agreement between the service provider and the customer is governed by the service provider’s own terms and conditions.
Processing of Personal Data
The club processes participants’ personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation. The information is used for maintaining the membership register, organising training activities and communication.
Disputes
Any disputes will primarily be resolved through negotiations between the parties.
